“We reached out to Nurtured Foundation in the hospital after the birth of our second child. We were anxious about balancing care for our newborn and 15 month old, while also managing to get some rest ourselves! Lisa responded immediately and talked with us about our needs and recommended what care might work best for our family. We were fortunate to work with two postpartum doulas, Jen for nights and Lexi for days. Jen helped us get extra sleep on the nights she was taking care of our newborn and helped identify any sleep/feeding issues. Lexi was incredibly helpful from day one! She jumped right in with newborn care and was also amazing with our toddler. Her insight as a lactation consultant was so helpful and she made me feel more confident about my breastfeeding journey. On top of that, she has expertise in car seats and babywearing. I really appreciated how Lexi helped out with household tasks and checked in with how I was doing each day. Most importantly, I could tell she loved caring for our two babies (and our pup!) and helping us adjust to being a family of four. I cannot recommend her care enough, especially for families with toddlers at home. Thank you Nurtured Foundation, Jen, and Lexi!“
