Kalie provided the service and not only was she very kind and personable, she was quick and efficient. I have really fluttery eyelids so getting lash services are always a hit or miss; the only other time I got a lash lift the technician got the chemicals in my eyes and it was really unpleasant. Kalie was the complete opposite! I was very comfortable and didn't have any issues whatsoever. The lash lift and tint turned out beautifully and I left feeling beautiful and taken care of. “As a first-time customer, I thought the salon was very clean and welcoming. My stylist was Alisha, who is classified above a mastery level. My hair was very long, and well past due for a haircut. I had a photo to show her the type of layering and length that I was looking for.
Alisha was kind and sweet, and we discussed family and education for the majority of the appointment. I was comfortable speaking with her and had a pleasant experience in her chair.
As far as my hair cut, I found her cutting skills less than what I expected. While my hair looked acceptable leaving the salon (and similar to the photo I had shown), I told her that I would never round brush my hair straight. Stylist always do this, so they can finish the hair cut dry, which I understand. But in real life, I choose to wear my hair more natural, wavy. Styled my way, my hair looks uneven (longer on one side), and is too full at the shoulders while flat on the top. Overall, the cut lacked texturizing in the appropriate areas to lay correctly.
She easily cut 2-3 more inches off than what we had discussed. I explained that I prefer my hair to not get caught in the collar of my dress shirt, it is a pet peeve of mine. Unfortunately, this length is too short and lands in my shirt collar every time I turn my head.
Would I still recommend this salon? - yes, especially for young people. Cute place, clean, and friendly staff. I won't be returning because the stylist was 30 minutes behind schedule for a 10am appointment. I simply can't waste that much time, unfortunately.“

“I love getting services from Gift of Beauty! I have had several services performed by Mary and I have to say she’s amazing. It’s not just a visit for me, it’s an experience! From the time you walk in the door, you are greeted warmly and given options for refreshments. You are then escorted to the relaxation room to take a breather, which is refreshing because as a Mom, moments of peace are needed. Once you are in the relaxation room, you can change and are given a nice robe to slip into. Once you’ve been given the opportunity to take a moment to yourself, you then are escorted to begin your services.

I’ve had a massage that felt like Heaven! I didn’t want to leave! She targets areas that needed to be worked out badly. You can feel the tension leave your body.

Her waxing service is beyond words. There’s no hair she can’t get! She takes her time ensuring every crevice is waxed.

The Spa at 21c may not be as large as other spas in the Cincinnati area, however, I found the service top notch. The salt scrub and massage were just what I needed to relax my mind and my body and rid my arms of the "fish scales" I inherited from dry skin. Another plus is the free Valet Service as part of the fee. Everyone I interacted with during my visit was wonderful. I have already booked my return visit for next month. Highly recommend!“
