I have been going to Amy for a few years and I just love the service there. If Amy has an emergency and cannot do my massage anybody else in that facility is just as good. It's a wonderful place. And you feel amazing when you walk out.
I'm fairly active, not professional but I bike and run regularly. I see massage as being part of my routine to undo the little kinks and aches I get from both. When those issues do arise, I visit Jamie to first get a massage and see if my pain subsides or goes away before going to see a Dr, who may prescribe a moderate painkiller. It's more natural, relaxing and she'll focus on my feet, calves, neck, whatever, and provides more information for the times when I do ultimately see my Dr.
Anyone that has ever been in a car accident can understand how stressful and frustrating dealing with the aftermath, the pain and the insurance can be. I have learned quite a bit about car and health insurance companies following my recent accident. It's overwhelming. Amy and the Medical Massage Associates have made the healing process so much easier. I called around to several places before finding Medical Massage Associates. I chose them because they are the only ones that will bill my car insurance company directly! There is no out-of-pocket expense to me at all! I don't have to front the money and then fax paperwork and receipts to my insurer and then wait and wait for a returned check. Medical Massage Associates does all the work for me. It's so wonderful! My treatment is customized to my needs as well! Amy, the licesned massseuse, does a quick consult with me before every session. She asks how I'm feeling, what my activities have been since my last appointment, if there has been any progress and where I'm still hurting. She has taught me stretches to do at home in between sessions so that I am continuously being treated. During the session, she'll talk to me about what technique she using and why. What she's finding in my muscles and if it's better or worse than the previous session. At the end, we recap everything and make notes to provide for the insurance company on my state. The Medical Massage Associates have been my saving grace in my accident woes. I always leave feeling relaxed and well taken care of. One less thing to worry about among the hundreds that accompany an auto accident.
