They truly are the affordable option and the only family owned Jewish funeral home! the others are owned by large corporations now! It was good to see Shapiro is still a Family business!
I cannot say enough good things about Frank and my experience at Shapiro services. I had to arrange a complicated funeral for my mother who passed away at a memory care facility here in the Cleveland area and who wanted her burial in the family plot outside of New York City. I consulted with Frank in advance and pre-paid the funeral costs. He guided me through every step with support, professionalism and a great deal of kindness and compassion. He helped me to keep the costs manageable and efficient. And then he connected me with a whole team of wonderful people-- from the lovely couple who did the transporting to New York to the amazing rabbi who did the service on the day of the funeral. During an incredibly difficult time Frank was always there to help and guide me, answering every one of my calls immediately and reaching out to me with important details and to get my input on decisions that were needed. I will never forget Frank and am grateful that I found him.
