The project involved finishing, not remodeling, our basement. It came closer to building a house than finishing since we added a full bath and some specialty rooms, like a library. This was not throwing up some drywall, dropping a ceiling, and putting up a picture of Franco Harris. This involved custom millwork the likes of which I seriously doubt you will see anywhere else.

They took the time to understand my vision and offered insightful suggestions that enhanced the overall design. Most importantly, John sat down and went line by line with us over the contract. He even reworded a paragraph that we found questionable with regard to our particular situation. The craftsmanship displayed was top-notch, and it's clear that they take pride in their work. Every detail was handled with care.
The two men who were constantly involved with the work were the project manager and lead carpenter. Both gentlemen consistently kept us updated on the progress. They always advised us to the best of their knowledge when workers were scheduled to show up.

What stood out to me the most was their commitment to staying on schedule and within budget. They communicated transparently about costs and timelines, which made the entire process stress-free.
What is particularly noteworthy is how they dealt with the very few issues that arose, as they always do. The few issues/concerns that arose during the process were resolved THAT DAY, sometimes within the hour. The project manager always responded to phone calls and texts promptly. This is incredibly important when you are involved in a big project.

Without reservation, I give my highest recommendation to Sam Pitzulo to anyone considering a remodeling or new building project. It's refreshing to find a business that combines quality with exceptional, friendly customer service.
