“Update (7/16/2024): Changed review from 2 to 5 stars. Andy Pech (Owner of ARP) came out and personally rectified the issue. He didn’t only replace the fan motor, but the whole assembly and hood, including the humidistat and thermostat for free. Even color matched the hood to our roof! I would trust them to do it right, no matter what.

Original Review - Last year (2023) Andy came by to give us a quote for a new A/C and furnace. We got three different quotes and I appreciated Andy’s candor and politeness. We didn’t end up moving forward with any quote, but when my house needed a new attic vent fan, I called ARP. A contractor came out and installed our new fan - it worked great and was affordable. Fast forward to Spring 2024. The fan is making a terrible squealing noise. It’s above my 2yr old daughters bedroom. I called in March to have ARP come and troubleshoot.

They send a contractor out and he says it’s “working as should”. I attempt to get Andy involved, and he will not respond to any of my calls. I’ve left several messages at the office. Here I am, 4 months later with a squeaking fan. Unfortunately, when I go to replace my furnace and A/C, I won’t be calling ARP.“

“We bought our home recently, and our HVAC system was cycling on and off with error messages. Broadview Heating sent Matt H. out due to our furnace not cycling/working properly. He was on time- pleasant, and very polite. We appreciated the shoe covers that he wore to keep our floors clean. He was meticulous; took his time and explained all of the components of our furnace, while thoroughly checking each part. In addition he found that our thermostat software was outdated and causing problems with the heating cycle, so he took the time to update it; downloaded the app on my phone and showed me how to use it properly. “VEH installed four mini splits in our 109 year old house - two bedrooms on the second floor and two bedrooms on the third floor. These are areas for guests and frequently used in summer months. The house is not otherwise air conditioned. There were four fantastic expert technicians on this project. They did outstanding work! A+ and more. This is a complicated project and they executed it flawlessly. NO MESS AT ALL. Meticulous work and respect for the property. Personable friendly workers. You get what you pay for with these big home improvement projects. VEH is worth every penny!“

“Ok, my post is about a month late because I almost never write these reviews; however, this guy DESERVES IT!!!!!

We had a duct cleaning in a three story house we'd moved into which was flipped twice in the last decade.

First, HE CAME WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD COME! I can't tell you how often that does not happen with other contractors/businesses around here.

Second, the work they did was incredible. They not only did the job they said they would, at the price they said they would, but they were very non-interruptive as I was working from home. Additionally, he found small items with my ductwork that were not disclosed to us in our house inspection - and he did so without trying to "sell up" for more items at my expense.

Third, he was NICE!

Overall, the work made a big difference for us (we don't think the vents had ever been cleaned before).

“Had a superb experience with Bryson's Heating & Cooling Service. They kept me in the loop throughout the entire process, providing text updates about Miguel's arrival times and so on. Faced an issue with a condenser coil that had failed, it was going to cost $2600 to fix, even though the unit was just 7 years old. Miguel clarified that the prior installation of a 5-ton unit, which was excessively large, resulted in the premature coil failure. He further elaborated that for a house of my size, the maximum tonnage should be 4 tons. He was comprehensive in explaining the issue. In the end, I opted for a new unit as the higher SEER rating offset the extra cost of a new unit compared to the repair. The project was executed excellently and the prices were reasonable, in my opinion. I would certainly endorse Bryson's Heating & Cooling Service in Cleveland.“

“It’s the Fourth of July and my 24-year-old furnace blower died that was blowing cold air from my 29-year-old AC unit. Mark had been doing work for my mother, so I gave him a call. Mark was out the next day. He got me up and running, but we both agreed I was time to replace both units. He was fantastic as we he went thru all the available options with me. Although he was my only call, his pricing was better when I talked to my friends that had very similar work completed recently. One Item that concerned me was that it was going to be hot and in the 90s for the next 7 days. He was able to work me into his busy schedule, and he started the new install that following Monday which was awesome!

I had Mark install the new AC into a different location. The old AC unit was in the way since I had put in back patio several years earlier. The new AC unit looks great and oh so quiet compared to the old unit. We can now talk in normal voice sitting at the patio table with the AC unit running 8 feet away from us. He also installed the new furnace, a new humidifier, and updated the drainage pipe than ran around the basement walls.

If there is one word describes Mark’s work. that word would be meticulous. All the wires were hidden compared to my old units. He also moved the gas line that was always partially in the way of the room walk in. Mark cleaned up and left no mess behind. Finally, Mark was also a pleasure to talk with and kept me updated during the entire process. Mark is definitely someone I would…..and I already have recommended to my friends and family. You could not ask for a better installer! I stand by that 100%“
