“Went in today with my son to purchase some landscaping timbers. We stood there and wasn't greeted by anyone for 15 minutes. Workers walked past us and didn't say a word to us. Finally the cashier while walking back to her register, asked if we needed help and said she'd send someone over. Again, we waited. 4 more workers walked past us, didn't greet us and we would just leaving and coming to Lowes. The customer service was just SOOO bad. Once arriving at Lowes, we went to the garden center and got a few plants, greeted by every employee out there asking if we needed help. When we walked in to walk all the way across the store to the lumber, 6 employees were passed said hello and asked if we needed help. We got to the lumber area and just peeked down an isle where a worker was and as I turned around, he yelled from behind if I needed help finding something. Yes, I told him what I was looking for and he told me exactly where to get it. Long story short, go to Lowes. They're customer service exceeded expectations and Home Depot is just lacking in that department. Terribly. Lowes price was cheaper too AND their lumber wasnt moldy looking and cracked like Home Depot.“

“Our project was just completed and we couldn't be happier. From start to finish the project went perfectly. We added new hardwood, and refinished the rest of the hardwood in the house. The new matched perfectly with the old and the old looks brand new. They did what they said they would do and did it on time. Something that rarely happens in the construction industry. If you are looking to do new hardwood or refinish your existing hardwood, these are the people to do it.“

“Weickert’s returned my call quickly and was able to make a next day appointment. Mark and Chris did a great job dry cleaning my sectional. Worth every penny - they took everything apart and did a thorough job brushing, vacuuming and cleaning. They were very honest with what can and cannot be cleaned with dry clean only upholstery. I will use them again.“

“We had our existing damaged kitchen flooring replaced and added new wood to our family room. Sandlins Hardwood Flooring gave us a competitive and fair price. Overall they did a good job with the demo and install. They were able to work us in quickly, which was a real plus, since our remodel project was ready for flooring. The job was a bit messier than we anticipated, especially since we weren't refinishing floors. We had prepped well with plastic coverings and blocking other rooms off, but the dust was still everywhere. The crew was prompt and responsive to our requests regarding a few issues of wood plank placement. They didn't really clean area after each day, so we cleaned up to keep dust being tracked everywhere. The crew seemed to be in a hurry to finish, and on final day forgot to complete a few things until we brought them to their attention. They completed the items when told about them. However we realized after job that they didn't grout around the fireplace. At this point, we will do the grout ourselves. Job was completed within estimated timeframe. The flooring looks great.“

“A fabricator sent me to Daltile to look at granite and quartz. He said that a sample does not compare to seeing the whole slab in person. Boy was he right. For many slabs, a sample does not paint an accurate picture. Appointments may be made, but walk-ins are also welcome. If looking for tile, make sure to sign in at the desk to the left. If looking for granite, quartz or marble, walk in to the office immediately to your right. There you will be able to check in for the stone department. Some simple safety rules are gone over. Customer's may then look for themselves. I had some design questions. The associate who helped me was phenomenal. I told her I wanted something not too busy, since the elements I am keeping are busy, but not something so plain it looks like a slab of concrete. She offered to walk around with me. After snaking through all the rows, she then left/ encouraged me to take a second look on my own. I left having placed two different slabs of granite on hold. Daltile offers a 30 day hold, free of charge. From there, everything is handled by your fabricator or contractor. Customer service was just as good when selecting slabs as it was when I took the slabs off hold. Holds come off at the end of 30 days. Even still, I did not want to be holding materials they could sell to someone else knowing I would not be purchasing it. Through no fault of Daltile, the fabricator who sent me to them never sent me a quote. We decided to use another fabricator, and selected a slab they have on hand. I still wouldn't hesitate recommending Daltile to someone who already has a contractor/fabricator, and is looking for stone.“
