I called Helping Hands Roofing based on them being a Owens-Corning preferred contractor and the positive reviews both on Google and at the Owens-Corning website.
They came out, inspected the roof thoroughly, and reaffirmed my thoughts and my own Home Inspector's opinion.
They could have easily said that the roof needs replaced immediately and gave me an estimate. They did not do that because they are honest.

“I called Hines Roofing on a Thursday afternoon about a leaking ridge vent and an adjacent soft spot. Their crew, a great team of friendly guys with a fantastic work ethic, rearranged their schedule and were on my roof early the next morning before more rain fell. The new style ridge vent looks great and new shingles blended well with the existing. They noticed that the gap at the peaks was too narrow, and cut it larger fior better attic airflow.“

“Very pleased with the roof and it only took 1 day to install. Clean up was good but I did find some nails in the yard and on the drive way, luckily none of those nails found my tires. Billing is a different story, keep receipts and records. First they overlooked my down payment, then about a week after paying in full, they sent a text asking for the full amount.“
