If you are looking for a friendly "everybody knows your name" kind of hair salon where you are not just a number, then you'll really like the Chateau Hair Salon in Beavercreek. The atmosphere is like walking back in time - I especially loved their retro-style black and white tile floor and rich woodwork - the kind you don't see much anymore. I had let my hair go longer than it should for a haircut and when I called, they were able to fit me in right away. Kiley, who was rather new to the salon at the time, did a nice job on my hair and even spent some extra time with me trying to answer my questions about some different ways to style it with some hair clips I had brought along. I did not feel rushed and, in fact, wanted to linger to take it all in - so unusual was the experience compared to the chains or glitzy salons out there. The place was as clean as a whistle and obviously loved by those who take care of the place and run it. Thanks for being a real community resource with "personality plus". Oh, and the value price? I still had change left from a $20!
