I went to Menards to get our only key to the house copied. When I asked an employee if they cut keys he said follow me. We get to the kiosk and says here you go. I said I have to do this myself and he said yup. So I was a little skeptical, but I'll try anything once. I opted for the Buy 2 Get 1 FREE deal and followed the directions. And quite surprisingly all 3 keys worked no problem!! Definitely recommend. Although would you ease up on the upsell attempts while waiting for the keys to be cut!!! It's a little overboard.
I went to Menards for a few things so I figured I would try to have two extra keys made for our gulf cart. I could not find anyone to make keys until I came across this kiosk to make keys. It was unable to make the key right there so we selected the option to have it shipped directly to us. We also paid for the keys at the kiosk. The keys arrived one day early to our home and they worked perfectly in our gulf cart. We will be using the kiosk in the future.
The key works but a little sketchy. The edges seemed to be in a sense sharp where it was cut for which the key doesn't seem to enter very smoothly but it does enter and work. I would say not the caliber of a locksmith.
