“UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL (ST. JOHN MEDICAL CENTER). This location of University Hospitals has several departments. The Physical Therapy unit is on the 3rd floor which is also the location for St. John's Medical Center. Westshore Primary Care (Westlake) is on the 2nd floor of this building. I did regular physical therapy here for my back for about 6 weeks. The PT that I saw was great. His name is Eric Jankov (DPT - Doctor of Physical Therapy). He asked me the right questions about my back and provided exercises I could do at home. I met with him twice a week from April 2018 - May 2018 for 45mins to an hour at each meeting. I had less back pain after my sessions. I just need to sit less at work; meaning, try to get up every hour to walk around...haha. I know we all struggle with sitting for too long during the work day. Also. I may be confusing both locations of University Hospitals on Detroit Road but I believe I came to this location for an X-Ray as well. By morning on the west coast another package was already on its way. That in itself was fantastic. Then during our correspondence figured out that they were sent to the wrong address and by the time I got off work another package was on its way to the correct address. Both Dr. Naem and the staff at North Shore offer clear explanations, exceptional care, and therapy options tailored to you as an individual. “I recently had a hip replacement surgery with Dr Stanfield i cannot say enough good things about Dr Stanfield and his staff!! The Dr was positive and my husband and i felt immediately at ease he answered all my questions and concerns! Eric was also so incredibly positive and professional! The office always got back to me with any questions and concerns! I had my surgery at Beaver Creek surgery center in Amherst and they took great care of me! Kaitlyn rhe nurse navigator was so incredibly knowledgeable and kind! Bethany the nurse was there when i got there right up until i left she was encouraging positive and so kind!!! The pt Julie was so helpful and u felt very safe with the staff! Kaitlyn checked up to see if i needed anything!!! I was recommended to Dr Stanfield from Brandi at Uh and im so glad he did ny surgery! It has been a long road and i will continue with my exercises and PT! But i feel so positive! “All these reviews saying only go there if you wanna die are idiotic. I have been there multiple times for drinking related problems. I'm a recovering alcoholic and it got the best of me a few times. The doctors and nurses saved my life from liver and kidney failure and a host of other related things like pancreatitis. I've been through so many procedures there. Everything from ct scans, mri's, catheters, all the way up to being intubated and having a central line IV in my neck a few times. Every time the staff has been wonderful. Sure there's been a nurse here and there who seemed a little cranky or whatever but it's few and far between. Would most definitely recommend this hospital for any type of medical problem.“

I saw alot of negative reviews just of people complaining about the wait time. I can say between 3 other hospitals I've been to in the past I have ALWAYS had very long wait times. I will be using this hospital from now on due to the great staff who helped me.“
