Had 7:00 am appointment. I showed up at 6:42am. Employees showed up around 6:48 am. I waited till 6:53 to enter. I was met right away by the receptionist and did all my insurance stuff ( I’m a repeat client) I sat down at 6:58 am.At 7:30 am I asked the receptionist what time my appointment was and she confirmed 7:00 am. She mentioned that the doctor just came in at 7:10am and he should be ready soon. I’m looking for recommendations for a new eye doctor that respects their clients time. This place has never been the same since Dr. Koos. Retired… always trying to upsell everything over insurance coverage Mike
They don’t seem to understand how to bill or the law. Ohio Revised Code Rule 5160-1-13.1 clearly states you are not allowed to ask Medicaid recipients for copays. Medicaid doesn’t even have a claim from it, which means they tried to bill me without even submitting the claim to secondary insurance. Incredibly shady practices and they’re constantly making errors. I can’t wait to take this business to court.
After seeing Dr.Dave and his staff for over 16 years, this visit was disappointing. The staff was rude to my family and I on two separate visits. The technicians that work there have awful attitudes, act like they know everything and speak in a very condescending tone. They show no empathy or care towards their patients. They questioned why we got the lenses we did when it was what was ordered by the Dr. Instead of printing off a prescription to take elsewhere, we got nothing but eye rolls, lack of understanding or even willingness to make it right. My family and I will not be returning. Don't get me wrong, the Drs are great, but the technicians need training in how to treat a patient in a healthcare setting, and customer service.
