I was devastated when my Loki boy was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia at only 10 months old. Our veterinarian referred us to Metropolitan for an ortho consult. They got us in for an exam within a week, and his surgery was done 3 days later. My Loki is at home recovering now and I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff here. From the ladies at the front desk, to the veterinary assistants, to the man the myth the legend—Dr. Daye himself, absolutely everyone was wonderful. They were kind, compassionate, explained everything every step of the way, answered all of my questions, and kept me well updated after his surgery on how my guy was doing. I had a wonderful experience at Metro vet Hospital. Easy to make an appointment I got in right away with my dog Enzo to see the oncologist, Dr. Gamblin. Everyone from the front desk was very professional and friendly. Dr. Gamblin is certainly an expert in his practice and took the time to explain the issues and plans for Enzo care. I would highly recommend Metro vet hospital for anyone who wants, a realistic diagnosis and care for their pet.
My dog was experiencing difficulty breathing due to trachea collapse. Immediately went to surgery and the doctor removed the foreign body that contributed to the trachea collapse. After a night in the hospital we got to pick up our dog. All the staff were professional, personable, respectful and dedicated. Many thanks to the doctors, technicians and all those that took care of our little Yorkshire Terrier. If you have an emergency with your animal family member, they will be in good and loving hands at the Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital Akron.
