My husband and I just had our new storm door installed by Gregg Schroko and his crew from Modern Home Industries in Yorktown Heights (914-245-4144), and we could not be more pleased and delighted.Gregg was the recommended installer by Jilco Window Corp. (see separate review), where we purchased our new storm door. We had a ballpark idea of what we wanted, but when Gregg came out to measure he provided a lot of clear information that made our selection easier. We live in an HOA, and Gregg was familiar with the procedure of obtaining approval for this particular home improvement; he promptly provided the necessary documents required to keep the project moving along. Gregg is knowledgeable, personable and professional and so pleasant and gratifying to work with.Gregg also knew we were eager to have our new door installed before the 4th of July weekend (the first time we would be entertaining since the pandemic turned all our lives upside down), and he was on top of it. As soon as the door came in, Gregg scheduled us and within a few days he and his crew -- all masked, respectful and efficient - had our door installed, a full week ahead of schedule! And it seemed to take no time at all to install our beautiful new door. Needless to say, we are thrilled; and highly recommend Gregg and Modern Home Industries for door installations or for any service that they offer.
