Stef (Steph) has cut my hair a few times. I'm older and bad at saying what I'd like, so through the years with other stylists, it was hit and miss. Stef read my mind, or listens extremely well. She gave me EXACTLY the cut I needed and it lasted until I decided I needed another one. She does it efficiently without any "upselling" that wouldn't fit my budget. I rarely make recommendations; I highly recommend her and the salon.

Requested style: I’m 72 years old and I’ve been going to the Hair Design Center for almost 40 years. I never have my haircut anywhere else. Stephanie always cuts my hair and knows what to do to keep it looking good. I don’t like traditional men’s haircuts. When I leave I always think that my hair looks as good as possible.

Great staff, great atmosphere, reasonable prices & best of all, they all know how to actually cut hair to last more than a week. What’s better than that

Requested style: Short with slight peak by neck line & fuller on top

Specialties: Permanent & non permanent hair coloring, highlights, etc

Hair type: Short hair full of cow licks, which they’ve managed to calm down, by doing a razor cut rather than just a scissor cut

Stylist: Stephanie has been my stylist for over 20 years & before that her father Gino, cut my hair. I buy all my makeup products from Alma, who taught me how to apply a natural makeup look
