Have not experienced a massage or facial yet but I had the chance to speaking with Alisha over the phone and she was very informative and helpful on different services and what would be most reccomended for my situation. Wil definitely be in soon !!
My shoulders carry the weight of my stress, and there's nothing like finals to exacerbate the ridiculous clumps of knots that form on my back. There was a point where I believe those knots were pinching on a nerve causing my arm to go numb after writing or typing for a while. And that's the main reason I decided to give this chain I try, it was close by and they happened to have a slot open. I was blessed to have Michael as my masseuse and I've been a loyal customer since. I'm big on massages and definitely make them part of my monthly self-care practice, so I've gotten plenty of massages before, some betters than others but Michael has been the best masseuse I've ever encountered so far. Our initial interaction involved me describing and locating the general area that was in pain and he took care of the rest. Telling y'all that this man understood the assignment is an understatement. Not once did I feel like he wasn't targeting my issue. It's as though he fully felt where my pain was and knew how exactly how to not only find but dissolve each knot. Like he was reading my mind almost. At the risk of sounding dramatic, I will say I've truly never had someone understand exactly what my back needs and deliver. True heaven. On the downside, Michael is not easy to schedule. Which speaks on how skillful he is. So if you're looking for a massage therapist at Ridgehill in Yonkers , Michael's your guy. I've tried one other massage therapist from this spot and another in Wilkes-Barre, PA and they've been pretty amazing as well. So it is my impression that this chain has massage therapists that know what they're doing. Do give them a try!
My facial was so relaxing I fell asleep. Gloria was so kind and professional. She explained my skin type and suggested things I could do to improve it. I'm definitely going to schedule another appointment with her.
