Most unresponsive service of all time. Stay away from this company. Customer service requires an active email and being responsive to phone calls and this company does neither. We wanted to use them. We wanted to pay them. We wanted to be treated with some semblance of respect & responsiveness. Not surprised that the average review is one star.

Atek was picked by my warranty company--always get an extended warranty-- to service my dishwasher, which failed days after the manufacturer's warranty expired. My dishwasher died on Friday, so when Atek opened Monday morning they had my voicemail asking them to call me to schedule the repair. No response that morning, so I called. Repeatedly. Nobody answered. Every day. Nobody answered, nobody responded to my many voice mails. Every day. The warranty company started leaving them messages, too. No response. Ever. Finally, after a week of this, the warranty company had to choose another repair place. When I called this new repair guys, they picked up the phone and scheduled my repair. But hey, maybe you wouldn't mind that nobody answers the phone at Atek or responds to voicemails. Maybe I'm just weird that way. Edit: It turns out many others have had identical experiences. This is the absolute worst repair service we have ever used in 50 years. We have an Ellica hood for our stove. It was under one year old when it completely died. We work through Lieberts Royal Green Appliance in White Plains and they contacted Ateks regarding our hood. They were told shortly after that we were contacted by Ateks and WE WERE NOT CONTACTED. Meanwhile, Ateks told Lieberts that they knew which part had to be replaced WITHOUT EVER COMING TO SEE THE PROBLEM. Finally, I was able to reach someone at Ateks directly and I expressed the frustration that we had waited 6-7 weeks for "the part" to come in.
