Edit - Went back for a blow out- not disappointed. I was able to see the versatility in the cut she did last week and was amazed to see how much length I still had. I am actually so surprised with all the bad reviews . I've been going here to do my spa pedicure for maybe a little over a year and than I went once a long time ago . I really enjoy the spa pedicure the massage is always really good and every time I go there they have all be very nice . My only complaint is that the regular nail polish would chip a few days later and that happened about three times . Idk if they're thinning out the nail polish to make it last longer . I than started to go to Hollywood nails but there massage with the spa pedicure isn't very good , so I went back here and the last time I did the pedicure the polish didn't chip . I prefer any of the ladies there to do it , the man who works there I feel is rough . I used to go to nyc nails for about 8 years when Helen owned it but the prices just keep going up and the service has gone down. I have only done spa pedicure here and I would recommend it .
after having a truly horrific experience at another shop, I set out to get it fixed, I was sheepishly peeking into the window of this place trying to catch a vibe when a barber saw me and waved me in warmly. I am visibly queer, transmasc nonbinary Fresh off an absolutely intentional hack job from another shop, I was very scared, and my barber here could absolutely tell and worked hard to put me at ease . There was a bit of a communication barrier but it didn't matter a single bit. They took care of me and fixed my hair, the barber could definitely see that I was deeply nervous to let anybody touch my hair. He made me feel at ease, offered me tea and coffee, and generally turned my whole mood around while fixing somebody else's mess. I left feeling confident and I swear to God, I almost hugged this perfect stranger, because I was so relieved.
