826 NY-29, Saratoga Springs“Hi…so my grandma had a dog named cinnamon…cinnamon would come over to my house on the weekends when we moved out of my grandma and grandpas house…my grandma has taken her dogs to this vet.for years…even though her dog moved in with me and became my dog me and my mom still take cinnamon to the same vet…we try and take my dog when my grandmas working as an assistant there bc my dog will refuse to go in unless my grandmas there…today march 27 of 2024 she has a major surgery..she got some of her teeth removed and her nails clipped and a lump on her leg removed for a biopsy…my grandma picked me and my dog up at 8:00 AM and my grandma brought my dog in the vet I stayed in the car bc if I have anxiety and my dog can sense it…the surgery lasted a couple hours I’m pretty sure…I was a little mad tho bc my grandma said to call them at 3:00 to see how cinnamon is and then go and pick her up…we called and Karen answered the phone she said my grandma was there and was gonna bring her mom they didn’t call to tell us or anything…so we didn’t know…and they new that me and my mom were gonna pick up my dog but they still called my grandma and my grandma wasn’t expecting it either she said…so that’s the only reason I’m a little mad and I guess u could say I was frustrated…but it’s whatever besides that I love the vet there great with my dog I love em…they were also very supportive when I had to put my cat down on 2/19/2024…Colin hugged me and Karen did the foot prints and nose print and patty explained what she was doing with the shots so that I knew when to say goodbye . ?“

63 Henning Rd, Saratoga Springs“I have nothing but good things to say about Rood and Riddle. The vet (Dr. Messak) who came to the stable where I keep my horse was very knowledgeable, as one would expect from Rood and Riddle. My horse is an older gentleman, and she listened when I told her he did not handle sedation well, and gave him just the right amount. She did an excellent job on the procedures he needed (teeth float, etc) and she prescribed medication for the arthritis in his hind legs. She was very patient and answered all my nutrition questions for an older horse. The staff is also VERY friendly and arranged a quick appointment for him, and the staff member who handles the follow up prescriptions was extremely efficient and went above and beyond to make sure he gets his meds and is comfortable. Thank you!“

9 Hampstead Pl Suite 105, Saratoga Springs“Dr. Ryan and the entire staff here are absolutely incredible!! I’ve been bringing my dog Stella here since I adopted her and have made going to the vet as positive an experience as it could be for a nervous rescue pup! Dr. Ryan went above and beyond treating Stella’s heartworm last year and I am so happy to see that there are two new vets at the practice! We just saw Dr. Piel for the first time and she was just as kind and patient!!“
“Professional old school vet with tons of compassion and experience and a great staff....“
“If I could give 10 stars I would!I took our horse there for a lameness exam and a second opinion. Dr. Steve and his staff were all so nice to us. They took their time to explain everything and get a plan going for our horse. He answered all my questions. I didn’t feel rushed or like he was trying to talk me into unnecessary things. Leaving I felt great and like I actually had a plan for my horse. They were also so sweet to my daughter. Great experience!“

623 West Mountain Road, Queensbury“Our cat developed cold symptoms over the Christmas holiday and our regular vet and emergency clinic were both closed the day after Christmas. I called Dr. Lansing and his wife due to the great reviews they have and hoped they would see him. He told me to bring my cat in a few hours from when I called and I’m glad I did- my cat had a high fever and needed a medication injection and meds to take home. He’s feeling better already and I’m grateful for both of them for helping us in a time of need. Thank you!“

500 Glen St, Glens Falls“I would recommend “For Pet’s Sake” to anyone! My cat had a burnt and infected paw pad, and I didn’t feel comfortable waiting 5 days to get him into his regular vet or any local vet. Luckily, “For Pet’s Sake” squeezed him into their already busy day as a drop in and got him feeling better! They were easy to get in touch with for any additional questions as well. Thank you “For Pet’s Sake” for all that you do!“

Thanx to her caring and accurate diagnosis, Boomer's eye injury cleared up in under 48 hrs. Nice to deal with a veteran veterinarian who has experience and compassion for treating her Client's animals.“
8AM - 8PM
35 Fawn Rd, Gansevoort“Let me start by saying nobody ever wants to bring their pet to the emergency room/clinic. however, this is the place to race to if you need. my French bulldog, was pooping blood and throwing up. after calling my normal vet and them saying they do not take emergencies I called here, they told me to bring him in with no hesitation. I was frantic on the phone crying, thinking the worse, needing answers. The lovely ladies who work the front desk were amazing and so accommodating.
Their was a little bit of a wait in the lobby to begin with which is understandable, even then with being short staffed on a holiday weekend the staff kept a smile on their face while running around and were very thorough.
I want to especially thank Rebecca one of the doctors assistants for taking care of my baby and loving him as her own. She strives in this field and was running around tending to our animals while making sure we stay updated. After her long day she explained everything and how he did, while answering all of my questions.
Lastly, Cindy(Sydney) the front desk lady. This woman is one of the kindest people I met, from answering the first phone call, to making my check in and check out process stress free. I called a few times to see how he was doing and each time they went back and gave me a good update. She even went out of her way to send me a photo of him when I requested it. Wish I could give more stars.“

“When I it comes to a veterinarian for your pets, you look for a thorough and kind veterinarian. When it comes to Saratoga Veterinary Hospital, not only do you get that with your vet, the entire office is top notch. They understand our dog’s anxiety and are so patient and sit in the floor with her to make her feel at ease. When we put our Hoover to sleep, they were beyond amazing. The office mailed us a sympathy card signed by the staff and donated to the Baker Institute for Animal Health at the Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine in our sweet boy’s name. I cannot recommend them enough, if you are looking for an amazing veterinarians with the equivalent in staff, Saratoga Veterinary Hospital is it!“
