What a magical place! Took my two great grandsons ages 3.7 and 1.10 to the Little Dude Ranch for pony rides on Friday. They had a blast!! The owner, Neysha, went above and beyond being welcoming, hospitable, and making sure all the children (and adults) had a fun time. The children learned how to groom (brush) the ponies, ride safely, and even went on a trail ride in the woods. They also learned the importance of giving the ponies healthy treats (apples and carrots) after their ride; and showing how to feed a pony a treat correctly. We all had a marvelous time for many reasons. It was fun, educational, and a slice of heaven on earth. Thank you, Neysha, for making this... read full review

Phenomenal experience as a soft introduction to horses and ponies. My husband and I wanted to surprise our daughter with an adventure and when we told her about it she said “I don’t want to ride a horse…”. Well, by the end of the class she was trotting! The horses/ ponies are all so tame and gentle. The staff is very knowledgeable, patient and interactive. They really made my 3 year old feel safe and comfortable. As we were pulling out, my daughter said she cannot wait to go back!

Went to a birthday party today! It was a great experience. The owner kept the party going by keeping the kids doing fun activities which is tough with a bunch of 4 year olds! The ponies were very sweet and unbothered by the kids' antics. The kids brushed, fed, walked and took a ride on the ponies. The barn has a front section with 5 tables and hay bales/bedding bags to sit on (one table has 4 chairs too). My friends that had the party brought in some of their own chairs and we had pizza and cake. There is a clean porta potty outside around the back of the barn. We might have our daughter's birthday here, she had such a great time.
