I previously used another groomer for my girls first year of her life. They were good with my Newfs back in the day, so I assumed they would be good with her. Every time we got her back she’d have clumps of hair falling out, she’d have mats behind her ears, and they complained that she didn’t like the dryer. At her last appointment I was told she was “thrashing around so bad” that they couldn’t dry her. They were more than annoyed at her when bringing her back out to me and even threw her collar on the counter after taking their leash off of her and walked away not saying a word to me. I had to interrupt their conversation to ask them where her collar was as I had no idea where they had put it and left me to fend for myself with this overly anxious pup in the little walk in area. It was obvious they didn’t like her and were sick of her. I threw their $20 tip on the counter and left. We were recently referred to Muddy Dog Inc in Whitesboro by another groomer down the street, they told me they had a male staff who would be more able to handle my girl. I gave Muddy Dog a full run down of this girl. She’s a Saint Bernard, a large one, who is deathly afraid of the dryer and causes a ruckus. They had no hesitation. The first appointment went amazing, they were cheaper than the other groomer and when we went to pick her up the girl said to me “She did GREAT, we had no issues with the dryer, I’m not sure what they are talking about” Last week I picked her up from her second appointment with them, she was still on the table. She jumped off as happily as could be and the girl laughed saying “I just love her, she is so sweet” Sadie then proceeded to sit on this poor girls feet, as she does when she claims someone 🤣 I asked about the dryer again and she said “She did amazing, truly no issues and she even lets me put the dryer up to her face where most dogs will not” My girl came back to me CLEAN, no clumps of hair falling out and NO mats. To say I’m thankful for these people is an understatement! Moral of the story: Read the signs from your pup that something isn’t right and trust them. Bring your business to Muddy Dog Inc in Whitesboro where they will treat your pups amazing! 💕💕💕
Had such a wonderful experience with The Muddy Dog Grooming Salon!! They did such a fantastic job and will forever continue to use them!!!! You can tell they truly care about your animal and couldn’t ask for anything better!!!! Thank goodness for such a great grooming experience!!!! Five Stars all the way!!!! Morgan is so happy with her new haircut that she has more sass in her walk!!!! 😂💕🐾🦴
