I usually go all the way to Manhattan for my hair, but I have been trying to find somewhere more convenient in Westchester. I stumbled upon Salon Savoir through a work promotion and after doing my homework on Yelp I decided to give it a shot. To be honest- I was completely TERRIFIED to try a new salon!!!! Claver and her entire team are magical!!!!! Sooooooo many great experiences yesterday at this place...I was taken in on time, I parked 3 blocks away (the meter parking actually have an app in which you can add money from your chair) and Belkys went and brought my car in front of the salon, everyone was on top of the whole meter thing, and although it took me 5 or 6 hours, my hair came out even better than how I wanted! I went from dark and orangish to dark and platinum. They use olaplex. My hair does not look or feel as if it had even been bleached! I was sooooooooooo impressed, I tipped everyone there!!!!! I came back to get my hair colored. When I called I asked if It was ok if I brought in my own products because they didn't use the color line that works for my hair they said no problem that "it was actually smart because I couldn't be double charged for product". I had booked a full head of highlights ($180) and ended up getting a double process blonde, basically a root retouch with bleach and then a toner. I was going platinum I told my stylist it was ok if I was more ashy (bluish purple) as long as there was no gold or orange because that's what I was trying to get rid of.
