Very rude and racists workers here. Was told okay to come and drove all the way here only to deal with poor attitude and being told to leave because their closed which was a lie. They kept lying and making excuses.Avoid at all costs.

That old adage, "If it sounds too good to be true...it probably is"? I don't always believe in it, but it's sadly applicable here. I purchased a Groupon that offered 3 services: a 60-minute massage, a 60-minute facial, and 30 minutes of foot reflexology. Right off the bat, I should tell you I don't believe in foot reflexology and have never paid for it. The pricing of the Groupon, however, captured my inner (South) Asian-bargain-hunter's attention: $25 for one spa service, $35 for 2 spa services, and $45 for 3 spa services. $45 for 2.5 hours of body manipulation?! I'm sad to say I could not resist, even though it was a trek from Astoria to Westbury, NY. The quick and dirty version, if you have ADD - I was "done" in 1.5 hours for all three services...which is mathematically possible, but would require overlapping procedures. The facial was passable, the massage was uncomfortable, and the foot reflexology was underwhelming. At best I left slightly more relaxed than when I had gone in, this entirely due to the facial. I still left a $20 tip, in case of karma. The longer version - I arrived late for my 11 a.m. appointment, around 11:20. I was out by 12:55. This did leave me time to pick up lunch for the boy and eat with him, but that wasn't the objective for the day. When I first opened the door, no one was sitting in the tiny entryway, and from next door - where you can see a sewing machine and fabric strewn about - a very young man appeared to ask me if I wanted a massage. This suggests Maple Health Foot Spa is owned by the woman/family that owns the tailor shop next door, which is fine with me and only mentioned in case you walk in and no one happens to greet you. Feel free to knock. A kind, middle-aged woman with a pixie cut told me the services would take two hours in total, and that I should start with the facial, so that the face mask could dry while I moved on to the foot reflexology, and then would finish with my back massage. My somewhat warped sense of time (what with my eyes closed and my watch and cell phone nestled safely in my purse) suggests that the back massage is where I was short-changed the most. I regularly get hour-long bodywork/tui-na/deep tissue massages, and before I had a chance to see what time it was, I had the sense that she couldn't have spent an hour on me. You have to be prepared for a few-to-no frills situation when you've spent under $50 before tip on what would ordinarily cost at least double elsewhere. However, I was not expecting that when I got back into my car after the facial, there would be random white spots around my face from where the mask hadn't been properly cleaned off. On top of that, it was clear that the extractions were not thorough, since I could see several pores that were missed. While I'm not sure what products she used, I did enjoy the pleasant scents of the various creams and scrub, though they ranged from lemongrass to Winterfresh-y and floral in between. They might not be from the same line. The facial massage was calming, but soft. The foot reflexology was done with such a light hand, by the youngish man mentioned earlier, that I couldn't imagine it would be purposeful or functional, if I did believe in the benefits of reflexology. My toes and heels did feel a tad "lighter" afterwards. The back massage was bizarre. First red flag had been when the woman from the facial returned and told me only to take my shirt off so I was still half-dressed in jeans. She started with a rougher hand and decent pressure, with a few long strokes - this I'm used to from other massages I have received, so I started to settle in. But she never looked for any knots nor did she focus on relieving any tension in any spots - she stuck simply to those longer strokes but without any direction. When she came back with a hot stone, I was hoping for her to change the technique up somewhat and put it to good use, but she didn't, and the stone was so hot that the first touch hurt, and I was relieved wh
