Scammers!! They towed my car while I stepped out of the lot for 10 minutes at great neck plaza. I called right away, and the person said that they will return my car if I give $300 in CASH ONLY. I was asked to walk behind rite aid to retrieve my car and the tow truck was already there. I asked if someone called it in because i was away 10 minutes and the driver claimed that the property has security monitoring the cameras at all times and call it in as soon as someone walks away. I will be reporting them for predatory practices. Shame on them!!

Ouch! They grabbed my car from a Great Neck plaza parking lot because I left the plaza for 5 minutes before returning to run errands at the plaza. They actively have a person walking the parking lot looking for people who park and the physically leave the parking lot-even for a moment. Then charge $300 cash to have car returned. The flatbed driver then parks on a side road, waiting for the next victim. Predatory practices-that have been reported. Hopefully the property owners- Kimco Realty- will put an end to Countywide practices.

Scam artists and extortionists. They towed my vehicle and then said fee can only be paid in cash. Then when I picked up the car, it had curb rash on the front passenger wheel. The wheel was never curbed for the two years I had the car. They then claimed they don’t take pictures of the vehicle before they tow as per NYS law. They also refused to provide their insurance information.Service: Car towing
