When our furnace stopped working at 3 a.m. on a Sunday morning during a cold snap (and during a pandemic), we were concerned that we'd be waiting a long time for heat. Alex came over soon after our early morning SOS call to assess the situation, attempted to locate a part, successfully patched the system so it would function overnight, and then set a date to install a new furnace on Monday morning, as ours had reached the end of its lifespan. Sure enough, prompt and pleasant as always, he got us up and running Monday morning. Extremely grateful to have had such a prompt and capable response. I have never written a Yelp review but I have to write about Jamison-Schindler Heating and Cooling in Rochester,, NY. A friend suggested them when I needed a new air conditioner. I found Alex to be very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Jamison-Schindler's receptionist is understanding and they are quick to respond to emergencies. I also purchased a new water heater from them and it was hooked up the same day that mine exploded. Alex even replaced a small hose on my humidifier that was causing water to leak all over my basement at no cost. They listen and even take the time to answer my ignorant questions.
