I had a 32" LCD TV and a 15" LCD monitor that I want to have recycled. A Best Buy employee told me it would cost me $30 per item for them to take them for recycling and explained the fee was imposed by NYS. I checked my local transfer site where I was told electronic items cost between $1 and $10 depending on the size. Googling the issue led me to the NYS DEC website that explained manufacturers were obliged to provide free recycling of their products. I was looking for some Cisco console cables and they had both the cables I was looking for. The were great to talk to and understood what I was looking for. It is great to have a company like them in this area that are willing to help anyone get what they need. I will be calling them again if I need any network supplies.
