“I've been going to Dr. Kessler for over 20 years. He is always very thorough, concerned and efficient. He runs a busy practice, which is a good thing, and I can see why some people may be put off by his rapidity. However, when he does have a few minutes, I've had pleasant discussions with him. He's always concerned about not just your eyesight but the health of your eyes, and he's made appropriate recommendations to me over the years. The shop is always stocked with a good variety of eyewear too. The staff is courteous and takes their time with me.“

“Was there a few years ago for glasses for reading and driving glasses. This establishment came highly recommended. Dr. Grasso was very thorough with my eye exam, but when it came to picking out frames I picked out 2 of what I thought was the less expensive frames.Turned out the 2 pairs of glasses had a total cost of $1,100 (all inclusive), but the frames weren't even designer. One pair was constantly slipping off and digging into my nose and after 3 times of trying to adjust them I realized that the frame was defective. No one but me noticed this? I was offered another frame but they did not have the same color as I had which was disappointing. The woman there gave me hard cover DKNY cases leading me to believe that this was the brand I bought, but it wasn't. I had to ask for a copy of my prescription twice before it was given to me and didn't return. Never received a follow up card for appt. after that. Although I thought the exam was excellent and the lenses were right on point, I was disappointed with the customer service transparency and follow up (or lack of).“

“Sterling optical has excellent Eye doctors. I really miss Dr Rosen :) I have been using SO for the past 5-7 years for lenses, sunglasses and contact lenses. Dr B and Dr S are excellent ophthalmologists who listen and answer all of your questions. The staff in front are nice too. My disappointment is having ordered lenses a few short days ago and being unable to omit a service " because the order was sent out to the lab and changes can not be made" From a day ago, when I paid enough to get the order started?? The staff are not at fault and can accommodate but so much. In the future, changes to glasses (like transition, anti-glare coating etc) should be allowed within reason. I'm dropping almost $700 on the lenses alone since I'm using a frame I bought from SO last year! just saying“
