“Last year I stopped into Lady Luck Tattoo to talk over an idea for a tattoo on my left forearm. Joe took time to discuss what was possible and walked me through font ideas for the words. (I wanted something that looked handwritten.) He was extremely personable, and I felt really comfortable. When I returned a week later for the tattoo, he showed me the image he created based on our conversation—blackened white feather—and how the words could line up. He even adjusted the size before he got to work. Placement was important because we didn't want the letters running into my wrist fold. Everything was so clearly explained, and my questions were answered to my satisfaction beforehand. The atmosphere was very friendly—other artists were working on clients, too—and Joe put me right at ease. He chatted and checked in with me as he worked, and it was a great experience. I'm so pleased with the final result which is what Joe had drafted in advance—again, no surprises! I was given clear directions for care of the tattoo during healing. I am definitely going back to Joe and Lady Luck Tattoo. I have an idea for another tattoo, and I'm sure Joe can deliver on what I'm looking for. I highly recommend this establishment!
