So, I highly recommend coming to the Walmart vision center in North Utica if you ever need an eye exam or new glasses. I lost my prescription glasses and the last time I got an eye exam was two years ago so I really needed to get one ASAP. I went to Empire Vision works in North Utica and they couldn't get me in for an eye exam for another two months.... same with the vision works in new Hartford and Rome. So I called Walmart in North Utica and they could get me in the next day for an exam. An eye exam without any insurance is $49. Depending on the insurance you have it could be free or a five dollar co-pay... all depends on the insurance you have. The optometrist, Terry Lutz is absolutely phenomenal. He's so friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. I was asking him so many questions and he has so much knowledge....it's awesome. I love talking to him. Everyone in the eyeglass center is super nice and they'll help you pick out a pair of glasses. I highly recommend coming here, they get you in and out fast and the service is phenomenal. Way better than Visionworks!
