I haven't had any work done, but I can attest to this mans character. You can tell alot about someone by how they treat strangers. This guy went out of his way, took time out of his day just to help a stranger. A simple favor and he wasn't expecting anything in return, but because of his selflessness I will be doing buisness with him in the future. Good things happen to good people!
I contacted Moseley Construction last year to possibly go along with me to look at a fixer-upper (turned out to be a complete tear down!) and things didn't work out, but I finally secured a home in Ithaca and called them again to see about replacing a small window with a fire safety egress. No problem! Mike dealt with the very cranky permit guy in town, got the job done and, as a bonus, re-used the concrete slab from the old window and turned it into a bench in my north yard (he even provided the stumps!). Easy to work with, a pleasure to have on site, and super chill to chat with (I can be a chatty person!).
Mike made a very substantial renovation on my home this year. The work was beautiful and meticulous, ranging from matching and extending internal exposed beams, outside entry design, arranging for a new heating system to suit the new design, tiling, new plumbing, and some cabinetry. Even the cat, not usually fond of visitors nor construction, approves of him! Mike had done earlier smaller projects for me with obvious care and talent, bathroom and kitchen renovation, which was the basis for my inquiry for this larger project. I recommend him without hesitation.
