I booked a 90 Minute Couples NSL Massage for my boyfriend and I on a whim. First Impression: The outside it adorable to walk up to and upon actually entering the premises we were blown away by the immediate feel of magic, ease and wonder all at once. I've seen many different aesthetics when it comes to decor yet this was otherworldly in a provocative and enchanting way. This feeling continues throughout the rest of the stay, room to room and into their gorgeous back courtyard! Point of Interest Number Two: The massage therapist made me feel instantly at ease and in capable, knowledge hands; safe. I instantly began to melt into the techniques he was using that I had never felt before. The entire massage was almost entirely new to me as far as style and I loved every single second of it. My boyfriend was equally in heaven with his therapist. I could go on for an essay's length about this world-class massage team we experienced right here in this hidden gem in Albany. I rarely right reviews, yet had to this time to spread the word about this amazing gift you will be giving any recipient of a service from this Spa! The insane part is the next day, instead of reverting to my natural hunched neck and slouched shoulders and general poor posture, he'd corrected and felt so many cracks in such a pleasantly releasing way), I continued to stand straight. I echo everything in Susan's review: Kat is a perfectionist, professional, efficient and SO much fun. Since moving back to NY and trying a few places around CP, I tried Kat in June. “I have been going to Bart at Progressions for a long time. He is outstanding at cutting hair! There is no one better in the area. I get compliments on my hair all of the time, especially when I go on cruises and get blowouts. My color looks great, too.When we briefly discussed moving to another state, I told my husband that was fine, but we would need to budget for me to fly back here every 6 weeks so Bart could do my hair. And, I was serious.The salon is neat and clean, and the staff is friendly. Bart is always on time and gets clients in and out like clockwork.I will be going here to get my hair done forever.“

I'm delighted since I seldom get my nails done and had difficulty choosing a salon that I could trust with my nails and I'm glad I discovered this particular business. This place is quite unique as a salon as it is set in a beautifully renovated home, but the interior is not only stylish, but clean, professional, and welcoming. I had my nails done by the owner, Lindsey, who was not only really sweet but also very skilled. She did such a great job with my nails and was very knowledgeable; she told me so much helpful information about nails, gel, and shellac that I hadn't known before. The end result was more than I hoped for as the color and paint quality was fantastic and it looks like a natural manicure which was perfect for what I wanted for my nails. It's already been a few days since I went and my nails are still immaculate - not a chip, peel, or imperfection. Next time I'm up by Albany I'll surely visit again for another great manicure. “My 6 and 9 year old wanted to go for a spa pedicure today, so we decided to find a place in the center of town that we could bike to from our home. It was my first time trying Ellis Nails and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The employees were warm, friendly and totally incredible with my kids. I have brought my kids to nail salons before and some are not welcoming to children. One place we went even refused to paint my son’s toenails because he’s a boy. At Ellis, they didn’t bat an eye about it; they were absolutely wonderful - they even added smiley faces to my boys’ toes! We’ll absolutely be returning and recommending it to friends!“
