Mixed review here. Once I got in, I had a really fun time. The clientele was friendly and sociable. But it was the wait to get in and the suspicious up-charges that lowered the score.Upon arrival, I joined a small gathering of would-be patrons who were made to wait in a tight chair-less entryway under the claim (made by the curmudgeonly desk clerk) that there were no lockers or rooms available.Slowly, as one man exited, another was allowed to enter — but, oddly, the exiting person was never a locker-renter. Use to go to this place regularly when i lived in Albany. Was always fun and the crowd was always pleasant, no one was ever rude nor pushy. I haven't been back in over 5 years so cant speak to the renovations that occurred in that time.
