“I have been wearing glasses since I’m 3 years old, now 36. I have poor eyesight, -10.5 in each eye, a recipe for very, thick, awful looking lens. I had been referred to The Optical Shop recently, and spent quite a bit of time looking at frames with the dynamic mother daughter duo, placing an order for a pair of frames atypical from my usual style. “We arrived a full 45 minutes ahead of a scheduled 11:00am follow-up appointment with Dr. Ali. We asked if an opening occurred, we would happily take it. We were seated in a crowded waiting room no more than five minutes when our name was called. After a brief period in the inner waiting room, we were greeted by Dr. Ali , who examined Laura, advised her to use eye moisturizer daily and pronounced her well. We were back in the car and headed home by 11:00, the original time of the appointment“

“The office staff here and Dr. Sunga are absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond for my daughter today. We had an appointment with Dr. Sunga scheduled for February but her school had sent me a letter stating she was having behavioral issues in school. I had a hunch it was related to her vision so I had to take her to another eye doctor yesterday who had an opening. It was there I discovered how poor her vision really is and she needed to begin additional treatment with prescription eye drops immediately. Dr. Sunga and his staff were able to squeeze her in today to help initiate this therapy. They even called the insurance for us to get this second office visit approved. Thank you Dr. Sunga and your office staff for being so compassionate and caring!! I am ever so grateful for all your efforts and time!“
