“I had my second son in May 2020 (C-section at 36 weeks, born 5 lbs) - just 5 weeks after the Covid-19 Pandemic lockdown started. My first son was born almost 18-years prior in a different state. A lot had changed!
When my first son was born, it was not a requirement to already have a pediatrician and to have said pediatrician to evaluate your baby prior to being discharged from the hospital. When we were told that information, I was caught off guard. With the pandemic in its scariest and most dangerous phase, no doctor’s office was accepting new patients and if so, they were not taking routine appointments.
All I knew, after having taken my nieces and nephew to their pediatrician, was that I was not going to be bringing my child to Summerwood Pediatrics. I would have loved to continue care with my older son’s pediatrician, but she was retiring. That’s when the hospital recommended Madison Irving Pediatrics.
I made a call to Madison Irving Pediatrics and the next morning we had the honor of meeting Charles “Bo” Rinn, MS, PNP-C. “Bo” was/is professional, intelligent, personable, accommodating, respectful, and best of all - has exceptional and genuine listening skills! We immediately knew that we were in good hands and had found the right pediatrician for our son. Bo evaluated our son and approved his discharge, and he even went above and beyond by scheduling his two week appointment for us.
We were admittedly (ashamedly looking back) a bit nervous of the office location, but Bo had made such a great impression on us that we quickly put those thoughts aside. When we arrived at the office two weeks later, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the building had its own attached parking garage (no validated parking offered by the office) and front desk security. The office was conveniently located on the second floor which was quiet and clean.
The office staff were friendly and informative, and the lobby had two waiting areas: one for healthy children and one for sick visits to keep the two areas and patient types as separate as possible. Both were very clean with plenty of decor to distract you from any wait times you may encounter - of which we had only about three minutes.
We were called back right away by an appropriately educated nurse who was competent and capable. We were put into a patient room chock full of educational displays that looked as if they were arranged by STEM. Our wait time from that point to see the doctor was less than five minutes.
Bo, again, was everything you want in a pediatrician (or any doctor!) and truly listened to our concerns, and he responded to them in the most thorough manner possible. He again, went above and beyond in addressing areas of concern and even referred and then scheduled appointments for us the relevant evaluations with specialists to further quell even the most “new preemie parent” far fetched concerns that we had. In fact, he has always been wonderful at listening and patiently responding to our thoughts - regardless of whether or not he agreed. That was unexpected and wonderful!
We have been seeing Bo for four years now and we could not be happier. I would recommend him to anyone.
I, like a lot of people, wrongly assumed that pediatric offices located in the suburbs were the superior choice in which the pediatricians there would be more in touch with our middle class lifestyle and child rearing ideals. I was wrong. I have Bo, Dr, Megan Campbell, and Madison Irving Pediatrics to thank for correcting my assumption bias and showing me how great a pediatric office and personnel can be - regardless of its location. Thank you!“
“Quite a family feel to this place, everyone seems to get along, they joke with each other and patients, and they just seem happy to be at work. Handled my issue smoothly and listened to my concerns when I felt no one else would.“
“Dr. Croglio and his team are very caring and do a very good job.He has been my GP for over 30 years.Michelle“
“I think I went to Dr. Rodz for a consultation at the tail end of his medical practice. He correctly diagnosed the nature and location of a benign spinal lesion that was brutally painful and referred me to another excellent neurosurgeon who performed the operation. That doctor told me that Dr, Rodz the most capable neurosurgeon he ever met! By the way Dr. Rodz's first name is Gerard, not Gary, per an earlier review“
“I had a very bad ankle sprain where I tore every single ligament in my ankle completely in half coupled with a bunch of micro- fractures. Every ortho and pt dr I saw said I wouldn’t walk for two months, recovery would take 18+ months. I hobbled into Syracuse medical in an air boot, after my first treatment I haven’t worn the boot since and barely have to wrap it anymore. And 91 days post injury I just completed a TRIATHLON. Thank you Syracuse medical for everything you have done for me to get my life back. So caring and professional. They truly want to see people get better.“
“I have always gone to Fayetteville office for exam and then went downstairs to st Joseph’s imaging for mammo… just tried to make this appointment and told “ we don’t have imaging in Fayetteville “ when did this change??“

“Was a patient here for 30+years w Dr Lawless... Was the best Dr... Congrats to him on his retirement... I will miss this Dr office...“
“Everyone is awesome. Friendly, knowledgeable. Clean, comfortable and courteous. Highly recommended.“
“I am not sure where all the negative reviews come from. I have been a patient here for years and see Judith Garrett, NP. She is not only amazing and thorough but empathetic. The girls in the office have always been nice, whether in person or on the phone. I am very fussy about my Drs. and would not continue to go here if it wasn’t the best place.
Be Kind and stop complaining about the little things.

“(David Nickels PA.) I had my first appointment with St. Joseph’s Physicians at the North Medical Center. Wow I was totally surprised by how good, caring, knowledgeable and empathetic David Nickles was. I have finally found a provider that I know has my health care concerns to be important. Thank you St, Joseph’s and thank you David for being the person you are.“
“From the scheduling of my appointment to check in, triage, exam and checkout everyone was amazing. The staff, nurses and doctors were all and compassionate and non judgmental. The facility is very clean and the atmosphere is calming. I went to this facility as there was no lengthy wait time to get in. It's sad the controversy and criticism Planned Parenthoods get due to the fact they perform abortions. What's sad is the ignorance of some people. Planned Parenthood offers so many other services that are vital to women's health of all ages. They also offer free things as well to women and children and I think that's pretty cool. I am over 50 and went in for a check-up and was treated with the upmost respect and compassion. None of the staff I saw rushed through anything and took the time to listen , document and address my concerns as an older woman. I can't speak for all Planned Parenthood's but as far as this one is concerned. I highly recommend this location. Thank you“
