I drove 1+ hr to come get my hair braided at this salon. She is very nice, accommodating and the hair was neat just how I like it. It’s on the pricey side but worth it if you really need your hair done in the area. I would recommend her!!

Got a straight back cornrows. Came without an appointment and accommodated me. Very nice lady and efficient working. Will recommend people to go to her and I will personally will be going back again

This is my go-to hair salon for styling my natural hair. Its a cozy little place that accepts walk-in's. Ive been here several times and ive always been a walk in and typically never have to wait.
Matoama works with gentle hands and is really friendly and very respectful. She seems to really enjoy what she does and shes great at it too. She can do just about any style you show her, and she works fast! She will check with you to make sure you like how the style is coming out and shes never gonna do anything you tell her you dont want. I think what I love most is that her braids/twists are never painfully or overly tight, they're just right.
