“After having a horrible experience with Visionworks I decided to try Ocutique, mainly because they are about the only other optical center in Syracuse that accepts Fidelis insurance. I am very happy with my new glasses! The ladies there are great to work with, very friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely highly recommend Ocutique“
“Saw Dr. Morra recently regards to a lingering condition that has been the source of daily frustration and anxiety for the past nine months. The previous two optometrists and ophthalmologists were adamant that the condition was cured/resolved but I still felt the light sensitivity and minor eye pressure daily. I went to Dr. Morra in the hopes he would be more willing to listen and validate that symptoms can still be occur post condition resolution. He took my perspective into consideration and walked me through his entire logic of what he believes is going on, how we can address it, and what I can expect in terms of resolution.Plenty of good doctors out there but I recommend Dr. Morra and his team if you are looking for a patient-centric experience!“
“Outstanding and professional services, extremely knowledgeable about eye care needs, unlike the "cookie-cutter" corporate outfits who are only interested in their stock portfolios. I support locally owned small businesses instead of under qualified staff at the other places.“
“Contacts and glasses for 50 years. Cataract surgery put in multi-focal lens. Amazing results. Every morning I skip the contact lens. Every night I do a second take--no contacts to get out! And 20/20 vision without any glasses. Thanks, Dr. Savedoff“
“I can never say enough about Dr Gordon and the employees at Empire Visionworks. Let's be honest - Shop City isn't exactly the safest area in Syracuse. It is what it is. So making sure Dr. Gordon was still at that location was all I needed to know in order to set up an appointment. He's always extremely congenial and has a fantastic sense of humor, and that helps "the medicine go down", so to speak. And Chris and the rest of the employees were friendly and ready to assist immediately. Some - well, most places - that I go to that involves customer service these days employ individuals who basically seem to feel that saying the words "Can I help you?" Or "Be right with you" or "Please" or "Thank you" or any other simple pleasantries is akin to swallowing razor blades. Double sided. BIG razor blades. With salt on the edges for even more agony. So I hope that gives you a stark image of how some of these people at othet establishments make customers feel for having the audacity to come into their presence and make them put down their phones for 5 seconds. This is the exact opposite at this visionworks. It was like a throwback to a time when people treated each other with - GASP! - respect and even a touch of - WHAT WOULD TIC TOC THINK?!? - friendliness!! And they got me in and out in a little over 30 minutes. It was a genuinely pleasant experience, and to be able to say that without putting a (/s) next to it is a rarity indeed. Can't recommend them enough. Stay classy, Visionworks! One small note, and not about visionworks at all - Shop City can be a little dicey every now and then so my advice would be to schedule appointments during daytime hours during the winter months.“
“As a new patient coming in from out of town, only for the summer, I found the staff very helpful, friendly, and professional, in response to an urgent issue that arose for me. Dr. Rob Becker was especially cordial, thorough, and responsive to questions. The Cazenovia facility was convenient and comfortable. Overall, I was very pleased with the care I received. --RP“
“I've never seen better. Plenty of frames to choose from not made in China. I seem to always find the ones made in Japan or France.“
