These guys enjoy their work and you can tell; they are super detailed with their cuts. They have a consistent technique among the two barbers I saw, both of whom were really patient and kind. My cuts from them always grow in well. Aside from their skill, the best thing about Los Maestros is their taste in music. They each put on what they’re feeling in the moment, whether it’s a slow and steady Cumbia or a Dominican classic, a romantic crooner, or a poppy English song, these gents keep up a great vibe.

I generally go to Greenpoint for my haircuts, but in live in LIC and this is a little closer, and generally there is no wait here, so I took a chance one day. I didn't get the name of the barber he is Dominican and is the 2nd barber when you come in. He didn't speak English but I speak some basic Spanish but mostly we got by showing him pictures and some hand gestures. He is fast, efficient, and done a great job with fade, and beard shape up/trim...I have found it hard to find a good fade, he does a great job, and price is a little cheaper than my other spot.

Been going to this place for years these guys are like family . Relaxed atmosphere be clear with what you want and they will deliver . It’s an old school nyc Dominican barber shop know enough not go while a baseball game is playing on tv and you will be good.
