I love this nail salon! I moved from Astoria to Woodside in September and have been trying to find a nail salon in my neighborhood I like since then, and I finally have! Technically it’s in Sunnyside, but it’s close enough that it works for me. All of the women in there are so nice, they’re efficient, but you don’t feel rushed, it’s clean, and they do a great job for a really great price. They also wear gloves, which is a minor detail, but for someone with sweaty hands who is often self-conscious about it, I appreciate that ? I’ve been here twice now and will continue to go back!
Steve is the most understated rockstar in the business. I've been to dozens of barbers, from back alley to high-end boutique shops, and have never encountered someone with such a great eye and remarkable memory. His talent and expertise are second to none. I grew up in the 'hood, and never went into this place for 30 years. You'd never know there was such incredible talent here just from looking inside. Less than a year before I moved, I went in for a quick cut, showed him a photo I'd posted on Yelp of my favorite barber's work in Manhattan, and was floored when he took it and made it five times better. Now I live over an hour away and still come here and nowhere else. Steve takes appointments now and he's good for them. Get him while he lasts; thankfully he also owns the shop, so that should be a while! But, his appointment book is fuller now than ever before.

This place is a hidden gem I came here yesterday and got dipping powder and design it came out perfectly and I would recommend you get there early like around 9 or 10 AM

I had gone to Lynch's Funeral Home quite a few times paying my respect over the years, but this time it was my loved one that passed. I called to see if they could pick up the body from over 150 miles away and without hesitation he said no problem. Dan and Matt were kind, caring, understanding, helpful and organized throughout the whole process. They answered any questions that arose during the stressful viewing and Matt even came through when I realized I didn't arrange for a priest to come to say a prayer. He made a call and arranged for a priest to come over. Dan lead us to the cemetery, clearly explained each step of what we were doing, he said a couple of prayers, we all placed the roses he gave us and the casket was lowered. Everything went so smoothly and it was a blessing that I didn't have to worry about anything except my lost loved one. They are truly professional and I would use them again without hesitation.

The aptitude is very important when you deal with people. This owner since I have living in Sunnyside ALWAYS SHOWS a smile and kindness I really LOVE his personality. I don't know where he is from but, just because I would love to meet his origins (because we need more people like him in this world). ??
I hired Jatp construction to retile my backsplash in my small co-op kitchen. he came for a quote in a timely manner and provided me with the forms I needed for my coop management company. he did the work quickly and laid the subway tiles nicely. I provided the tiles of my choice and he had everything else needed. he cleaned up when he was done. he was easy to get in touch with.
Big shout out to Ivan for giving me my first tattoo. Truly an artist and a great guy to converse with. Really appreciated every second I was in his shop and would do it again! Highly recommend.
Respect, flexibility and attentive care are at the forefront of this practice. DPT Irene is very caring and always provides comprehensive evaluation and follow-up and the female PT Assistant Sam is kind, patient and friendly.There is a male DPT Aldin who also serves evening patients and is quite friendly. The facility is easy to find, clean, and has a friendly atmosphere with upbeat music and a clean bathroom and lockers. Their schedules are never dramatic even during peak slots and I can easily schedule follow up visits over the phone without long wait times. Only feedback I would give is sometimes the front desk does not send a reminder of my visit the day before like other clinics and it might be hard for someone who is forgetful or does not keep track of how many sessions they have pending.

The ladies are amazing! The prices are definitely affordable compared to others in the area. I was a little bummed sunny was on vacation-she is the only nail tech that does designs.. however I settled for more of a simple look this year- Co Co did great and asked me if everything looked good between each step of getting my nails done. I will definitely be a returning customer! Their salon is very clean and well taken care of!
