I looked at a large sampling of all reviews. When I called, their receptionist was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. We received both emails and phone calls to verify the start date and time and we discussed various paint colors based on photos we were requested to send.<br><br>Mario and William ("Painters") arrived on time and came well-prepared. They placed floor tarps and plastic sheets to protect the floors, windows, doors and hardware. When the painting was completed, there wasn't a speck of paint nor plaster anywhere due to the painters' care and attention to detail, plus respect as if our home was theirs. We keep an immaculate house and the painters left the house as clean as when they arrived. The difference was a beautiful, fresh paint job, smooth walls including sharp corners.<br><br>The painters' skill and craftsmanship were easily evident and the care they exhibited was much appreciated. “Came to Future Image Designs through a recommendation from CertainTeed for a siding project that we were planning. We interviewed a number of potential contractors, went through the typical discussion on colors, styles, options, etc., however, Mario Nearchou, the owner of Future Image Designs was the only contractor to spend time with us, take measurements, walk the property, inspected the structure of the house and the roof for potential impact to the project, and provided an estimate that he met without exception. We agreed on a start date, he kept us informed, arrived as planned, and completed as planned. He arrived with a larger team day one for demolition, and kept a smaller team throughout the project, including a lead, not to mention Mario arriving every morning to start the day, answer any questions, and ending the day ensure the site was clean, including our neighbor’s property. In addition, he was fully accessible via telephone or text. You can tell much of a business by the interaction with the owner, and Mario has a strong relationship with his people, most with tenure over five years, and many recommending each other to work with Mario. “Competency is being too highly rated in the 21st century. You call a call center and the person understands and handles your request. You get a survey and you are supposed to be elated that someone did the job which they were hired to do. You are supposed to treat the lack of incompetence as something exceptional. I don't. When I receive competent, efficient service, I rate them moderately because a customer should be entitled to expect competence as a minimum requirement. I need to preface my review with the above because if All Island Restoration (AIR) had done the job completely and within an appropriate timeframe and with proper communication, they would receive three stars because they did what was needed; what should be expected. What constitutes a five-star rating? Not only did they get the job done completely, they did it as well as it could be done. The doors were properly installed. Drywall and electrical work were done with exceptional care. Cabinetry was properly aligned with meticulous placement of hardware. Flooring work was expertly done with an emphasis on ensuring the best overall appearance. Tasks were scheduled intelligently so that work that could be done simultaneously without interference were thusly scheduled. AIR took care to protect any work that was already complete from being mishandled or damaged by their subsequent work. While quality of materials was emphasized, AIR was careful about understanding our limited available funds so that a reasonable middle-ground could be achieved whenever necessary. Cleaning up after their work was likewise always a priority for them. The Project Manager, Joe, listened so carefully to my responses to his questions that he learned (without directly asking me) what my priorities and concerns would be.
