Tortoise & the Hair

I had such a hard time finding a place to give me just cut and blow that did not cost a fortune. My hair is thick and longer then it should be and can be a challenge to cut. After a google search I found the Tortoise and the Hair. Convenient to me because it is less that 2 min from my home. Such nice to people! Suzy was excellent. I showed her my picture of the hair cut I wanted and she ran her fingers through my hair looked for where my natural part was and went to work. Friendly conversation while I watched her work through mirror. Great job and after 10 years in Staten Island finally someone I can go back too!

My husband comes here often for his haircuts and I think they do a pretty good job. I've stopped in a few times and I thought the atmosphere is very nice. They are conveniently located near the bridge on Hylan and the staff here are friendly and reliable.
