Although I am not on Staten Island any longer, I still have my HOME SERVE contracts and when I realized my hot water wasn't getting HOT, I called for service. The gentleman that came, completed the inspection of the hot water heater and immediately determined that what I needed was a new thermostat and dial in the hot water heater, and not a replacement of the hot water heater. He changed the part and within 15 minutes, I had hot water again. I can't say enough about Home Serve, They came the day I requested and were right on the money as far as a diagnosis and repair.
I recently had my A/C unit repaired by Honeserv. They replaced the part & the problem was earlier solved. The technician was very professional & knowledgeable. Thank you.
I have to admit I was dubious about HomeServe, but they came through.
The tech they sent, Chris, was pleasant, explained what he was trying and why. He had to replace some parts, but eventually he got the pilot on the water heater to relite and stay lit.
I would recommend their service.
