Dr. Pugliese and staff are all very kind and knowledgeable. I brought two of my bearded dragons here (bless their souls) and my beautiful Sulcata Tortoise here and she’s taken good care of them and shares the same passion for exotics and reptiles like I do. She isn’t the typical arrogant Doctor that claims to know it all, she isn’t afraid to tell you she doesn’t know something and she’ll do a lot of research to give you the right information about how to treat your animal. She is also very affordable compared to other vets I went to. She is definitely my go to whenever one of my reptiles get sick, I wish I can give her 10 stars!!
I wouldnt choose any other Doctor than Pugliese to bring my pets to. I have never met someone more dedicated to their field of work and you can tell her heart is fully there. She truly cares about your pets just as much as you do and will do everything in her power to ensure you and your pet are comfortable in every scenario. I've had all 6 of my dogs in my life taken care of by Pugliese through both good and bad and she's just such an amazing person. She was even nice enough to see my new pet mouse and took wonderful care of him. I have also seen her rehabilitate animals that no one would else would go near, even shelters. Dr. Pugliese is very warm and kind. She treats my guinea pigs as if they were her own. Very thorough. Extremely knowledgeable. I'm never rushed, nor have I experienced long waits in the office. Dr. Pugliese discusses and explains throughout the exam and I learn something new every single time I'm there! Staff is upbeat and very helpful. I am happy to call Eltingville Veterinary Practice my Vet! Fidget and Rooster give them 5 stars as well!
