I hired Max to hang about 50 oil paintings in a 30-by-15-foot gallery space. He arrived promptly and accomplished the task in about half a day at a very fair price. He is ultra-skillful and efficient as well as pleasant and agreeable. But more than that he arranged the pictures with unerring instinct in well-proportioned layouts according to their dimensions and characteristics. Far better than I would have done. I don’t think there are many museum curators who would have done a better job. The handyman title is way too modest. Max is a phenomenon.
