A big thank you from the entire family. Dominick was tremendously helpful during a very a difficult and unexpected time. He was professional, respectful, and efficient. He made it a very smooth process from start to finish.

Brockett (Dominick Abbate) was unbelievably amazing during a very difficult time for our family; I rarely write reviews and felt compelled to here because Dominick took care of everything flawlessly and removed a tremendous amount of additional potential stress for us by being so dialed-in and professional. I would leave a 10-star review if I could. While you obviously hope to never have to deal with him, I can't imagine anyone better to turn to during a period of immense grief.

The family of Elton E. Etheridge would like to thank the Brockett Funeral Home and Dominick Abbate the director, for the care, committment, and excellent service that was expressed to us as we arranged our husband/father's homegoing celebration.

From Brockett Funeral Home Inc

Brockett Funeral Home, Inc. was founded in 1922 by Mr. Everett Brockett at the current location. The building dates back to the late 1800's and was the summer home of a Connecticut Senator. The Brocketts later sold the business to the Bauers. Paul Bauer successfully ran the Funeral Home for over 28 years. In the 1990s, the current owner John Abbate purchased the funeral home. In 2016 John's son Dominick entered the business following in his father's footsteps. The tradition of family and care for our community has entered another generation. Brockett Funeral Home will celebrate 100 years of dedication to the Southampton community in 2022.
