My Margo who was 12.5 was diagnosed with lymphoma.. She went through the traditional route of chemo at another practice that left her in the hospital for 5 days. I moved Margo to Smith Ridge and Dr. Seo from a recommendation I received. Through his care Margo we were able to have more time with her and truly enjoy each and every day as a gift. Sadly, it was time to say goodbye and let her rest. It was a day that Dr. Seo is off from working on that day, but he came in to care for Margo and help her transition over the rainbow bridge with me. This is a testament to the love he has for his animal patients. Thank you to Dr. Seo, you are one-of -a kind human. “The team here is truly remarkable! We brought our dog Libby in for a liver tumor surgery after another board certified surgeon opened her up and deemed her inoperable and her situation imminently terminal. Medvet was incredibly flexible, did important testing promptly (complex CT scans) that the other hospital did not or could not do, and was able to successfully remove our dog's tumor. The staff was incredibly professional, thorough, and compassionate (shout out to Rachel and Dani the nurses for the surgery team, and Nicole, the nurse for the overnight ICU team...they were incredible!). Our surgeon, Dr. Baron, in particular, was simply amazing to work with: so incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Our dog's best interest was her clear and consistent priority every step of the way. We consulted widely throughout the region after receiving the terminal diagnosis from the first surgeon and found Medvet to be quite simply the best option in several states. We cannot recommend them highly enough and owe them everything for giving our dog a new lease on life. You will not regret choosing them for your pet's needs.“

“Can’t say enough about Dr. Stephanie and her crew. They truly honestly care about the animals in their care one of my two beautiful Collies a female was not feeling well. I took her there late on a Thursday I think and we found out she had a uterus infection and needed surgery immediately which she did just that afternoon, and I got her back after the surgery and she called me every day for four or five days to check to see how my dog was doing that’s the kind of service that everybody would want my dogs mean everything to me so if your animal means everything to you Then Cannondale animal clinic is the only place To go“

In stark contrast, Dr. Immerblum and his team at GBVCC prioritize animal well-being and are mindful of costs. They went above and beyond to obtain my dog's records from previous providers and ensured our comfort throughout the transition. During our initial visit, Dr. Immerblum dedicated more than an hour to getting to know my dog and answering my questions. Unlike my previous experience, GBVCC is reliably open during regular business hours, with staff available until midnight and even later for emergencies. The difference is remarkable. “Dr. Andrew Frishman is literally a life-saver! He and his team at Progressive saved my dog's life. I was given a cancer diagnosis by the vet that we have used for years in Manhattan. The vet there said the tumor was inoperable and there was not treatment for this type of cancer. As we weighted our options to put our beautiful and loving pet down, THANKFULLY, we sought a second opinion from Dr. Frishman. Dr. Frishman advised he could perform the operation immediately. We had our pet in his care the very next morning. The tumor was removed, and now our dog is on an innovative immunotherapy treatment plan consisting of 3 shots that have zero side effect. Our dog is thriving and couldn't be happier. And, to think, we were told there was no treatment by a very expensive tribeca vet. I now make the drive to Somers without a second thought. I implicitly trust Dr. Frishman and his team. Everyone there is thoughtful, full of compassion, loving towards the animals (and yes, I've watched them with their other patients as they come and go out - everyone smiling and happy), and their costs are very, very reasonable. They do not charge for anything "extra" and they do not try to sell any unnecessary treatments or services, which is so refreshing. “We had a wonderful experience at Norwalk Animal Hospital with Dr. Wolf and the entire vet tech and office staff during the two years we were in CT. Dr. Wolf is very compassionate and patient answering all of our questions for both our senior dog and young cat. We felt like she truly listened to our concerns, no matter how big or small, and gave us great guidance. When our dog was going through a recurring issue, she kept in close contact with us to try multiple solutions and being very responsive.“

“The entire staff is incredible- compassionate, highly responsive, accommodating, friendly, etc. We’ve rotated vets within this clinic, based on availability, and each one is thorough, knowledgeable, patient, and tries to make my anxious dog as comfortable as possible.<br><br>Dr. Maxwell has been exclusively treating my dog the past 5 months for a variety of issues- from inexplicable, chronic vomiting & gas to a nail injury (entire nail tore off). The nail injury required many visits to properly treat it and it has healed beautifully. The vomiting persisted, so he was treated for dehydration, administered blood work, Xray & an ultrasound. The ultrasound uncovered a small, foreign object in his stomach, but no other serious concerns from the X-ray or ultrasound. So glad we did that work. Dr. Maxwell has excellent bedside manner, doesn’t rush the appointments, provides a good course of treatment and is so sweet to our dog.<br><br>We moved from out of state, too far from the clinic my dog has been going to for the past 4 yrs, and needed a new vet. We first came to South Wilton Vet for routine care in order to get a sense of the quality of care and realized immediately this was our new clinic.<br><br>I could not disagree more with the other reviews on here with respect to this clinic being “money hungry.” I’ve never once experienced the staff pushing unwarranted procedures, tests, vaccines or products on us. Are they expensive? Yes, but so was our former clinic in Nashville and they provided exceptional service as well. People either ignore the fact that clinics have overheads or struggling financially and can’t afford to treat their animals. Im sure the latter is incredibly frustrating, but personally, we would pay any kind of $ for our dog. I’m also not a vet, so I’ll never know if we’re being taken advantage of, but our dog is happy and healthy.. that’s what matters to us.<br><br>Tl;dr - we are extremely happy here and the prices are worth the spend!“

“I went there with my 12yrs old Yorkie due to pancratitis, which my primary care recommended. They were very nice, I had no appointment and they took me right away and in a little while I was speaking to the Vet which she gave me her recommendation and we took. I picked up my little girl the next day she came running out and looked absolutely great. They took such good care of her she was back to herself. I even got money back from my deposit. Which is unheard of " THIS PLACE IS AMAZING". They actually care about your pet, which is like family to most. Thank you soooo much VET MED!!!!!“
