Just wanted to express my gratitude to George Ludwig and all his hard working folks at Northern Enterprises!My aunt was away from her home in Granville NY because she was helping care for my parents who both had medical issues in Virginia. Well the furnace went out, and the pipes burst and this resulted in water damage. I was helping her out with the insurance claim because she was busy with my folks. I was so lucky to find Northern Enterprises online.Not only was George Ludwig very responsive, he really helped handle the insurance claim too. Northern Enterprises remodeled and updated our 82 year old home in Glens Falls this summer. After reviewing three different general contractors, we chose George's company. We were impressed by his sincerity, caution and extremely detailed estimate. George is both very creative, and at the same time, practical. NE started the project on time and were at work every day. The office kept in touch with us regularly. They gutted and rebuilt the kitchen and bathrooms, took several walls and ceilings down to studs, replace almost all the plumbing and electrical wiring, reframed many doors and windows, and spent countless hours rebuilding and re-facing our plaster walls and ceilings. George's design suggestions made a huge difference. Every surface of our home has been touched and beautifully livable. One of us was on site nearly every day and can tell you that the crew is friendly, polite and professional. They cleaned up each day to keep the work area tidy. Our neighbors had no complaints. We appreciated the progress billing, and felt we received excellent value for the money. we would, without hesitation, hire Northern Enterprises for another project because we are completely satisfied and please with the quality of the work, and because the company conducts business with honesty, moral integrity and a fine sense of humor.
