we have a series of repairs being done by Paul and his team. the first phase was a new roof for my in laws, what a fabulous seamless job they did. the crew were friendly and helpful and took great care. the second job was a new floor of my in laws in the bathroom and the living room. Mike did a great job and put my in laws at ease, they are 85 and 93 and tend to be uneasy with work being done. we are excited for a major bath repair as well as a new door and window, we can not thank Paul and his crew enough for their kindness, and patience they have, great job Home Improvement Gallery

Can't say enough good things about Thomas and his services. His consultation was thorough, detailed and gave me a lot of insight into what was going to happen with my hair. He was patient with my many back and forth messages and scheduling was easy and accommodating. I walked out with EXACTLY what I wanted and that almost never happens for me. I blame a lot of that on not being educated by my hair stylists on how to properly color and treat my hair. I cannot wait to come back and see what he can do when it's time to lighten for the summer! In addition to the classes I have done training with the owner and Lisa and they are both great to work with and pushed me in the right direction. I wouldn't be in the physical shape I am without their help.

Danielle and Kirsten came to Lake Placid to do hair for 9 people for my wedding and they are phenomenal! Everything was so organized and they worked together so well. During my trial at the salon, they were the best hype squad too. Everyone looked amazing!
We can’t thank Tom and the team at Klogg’s enough! We had our hardwood floors installed in our new home in 2020 and then our dishwasher had a slow leak that required us to replace our hardwood floors throughout the house. Tom worked with us to find the perfect color hardwood floors. We went from a dark mahogany ash floor to a light white oak. We absolutely love our new floors and hope to refinish our floors in our bedrooms one day.
After 20 years of service, our cement pool deck needed replacement. It seemed we only had 2 replacement options:chip up and dispose of our current deck then pour new cement or install pavers over the top of our existing decking.The pricing for both of these options were a bit pricey.Then a friend mentioned Tuff Kote and the product/service they offer. Called them. I met with Mike the owner who is extremely knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained the product and process. He gave me our price, and we went with his proposal.Mike and his install crew were timely, professional and took pride in their work. For less than the cost of chipping up and disposing of our old pool deck we were able to replace it with a beautiful, unique pool deck that's comfortable to walk on during those hot sunny days.Tuff Kote's solution was aesthetically, environmentally and economically the best decision we could have made. Well done !
I needed a haircut, googled alot of salons in the area and chose this one.I walked in and was greeted by the lady at the desk(i think the owner) she was friendly and they where able to fit me in.The lady who did my hair was Luka, she wS very friendly, she washed, cut and styled my hair! Was a quick appointment but i will definitely go back for more hair needs!
I came here for my first piercing, it was very nice and was given good advice on how to take care of it, everyone there was friendly. Will be going again in the future.

Amy is the best at doing nails and pedicures. I once had an ingrown toenail she fixed the problem. She knows what she is doing. For my daughter’s wedding she did my nails with ANC & they were no less than STUNNING. She’s goes out of her way to make you comfortable and works very hard. Snappy Nails has so many colors & the store is very clean. They have a lot of different pedicure packages to make you feel pampered. I would not go anywhere else! Geri Orza

Had a great experience at the salon today. Danielle was my stylist and she did a great job trimming and blowing out my hair. I also did the spray tan (3x the charm). My tan looks great and so does my hair. All of the staff is always so friendly, informative, and visiting Elle is always such a nice way to practice self-care.
