Operated by a kind, friendly couple who are clearly knowledgeable about dogs and care about the animals they board. They accommodated us last minute when we were in a bind during our trip to Ithaca and they made us feel good about leaving our dog with them.

We have been bringing our dog to Barb and Rick for 7 years. Their exemplary care and concern for our pet is very evident. The dogs are exercised every day, paired with a buddy or two. There are large areas for the dogs to play and romp. We know how much our dog loves them as soon as we arrive. She walks away with Rick to go to the kennel with nary a look back. Our dog had a medical crisis this past weekend, while in their care. They immediately recognized what was happening and the seriousness of it. They rushed her off to Cornell and made arrangements for surgery, etc. They couldn't get ahold of us at the minute, so they took financial responsibility so as to not delay her care. They saved her life without a doubt, but more than that, because of their quick action, she did not suffer any more than she had to, and is expected to make a full recovery.We can not say enough good things about Barb snd Rick. They are great kennel owners and really great people. If you are looking for a kennel in the Ithaca area, we can not recommend them enough.
