We did a myriad of projects with Lou including: roofing, flooring, door installation, siding, Sheetrock/ etc. Lou & his team worked under extremely tight timelines & kept me apprised of the work throughout the process (I was not able to be present for the work). It speaks volumes when you can trust your contractor 100%.

During the various jobs, the team consistently documented progress & took photos. Quotes were at market value & stayed true throughout the projects (eg very few “hidden” costs).

“Rob from R&D flooring is absolutely the best. As first time home owners who had an issue with a prior floor company, we were hesitant to use them again for our main floor. My sister/brother in law recommended R&D flooring and I am so glad they did! Rob returned my initial phone call immediately, came over the next day for an estimate! We needed floor repairing as well, to whom he recommended someone for. Once Rob came in, the process took about 4 days. He came early morning and left late afternoon. Worked in the heat all day, keeping his word that the floor would be done by the weekend. He laid out stains for us to make the final decision very quickly and made it easy. He sent us pictures of the progress made each day. He is dependable, professional, friendly, down to earth guy. We knew our house was in good hands. “Fran and the Derby Team provided top quality customer service from selection to production, through delivery!

After having worked with Derby on a carpeting project for a flip house in 2023 that went extremely well, I returned to them with a smaller and more unique project this year.

The Derby team helped me pick out a carpet from a selection of remnants they kept in their store. From there, I coordinated with Fran to send measurements and zero in on the final cut.

Within one day the carpet was prepared and ready for pick up!

I'm amazed at the sheer precision of the cut with such a simple layout that I provided. While I would certainly recommend having Fran come to measure out your room, this project we worked on together didn't necessarily warrant their trip out to my home to take measurements as we were working on a small vocal booth.

The entire team worked around my availability given my current work hours which was a testament to their patience provided the rounds of phone tag I put them through.

I'd work with Derby again, ten out of ten.
