In February of 2024, I've contacted the CPA's office to request a consultation for an issue with my withholdings from a part time job along with my new york state retirement. The original contact on the phone on our discussion to make an appointment I was advised it should take approximately thirty minutes for this consultation. My appointment lasted almost 1 hour and I was charge $360. The only information I received is during this meeting was to change my status to "married, filing separately".
